Model 464 Low Resistance Standards

The Avro Model 464 Series of low value resistance standards provides high accuracy working standards ranging from 1 Ω to 100 MΩ. Each standard comes complete with its own certificate of calibration traceable to national standards.

The rugged outer enclosure makes these resistance standards easily transportable for on site calibration work. The elements of these standards are carefully mounted in their housing to prevent changes caused by mechanical shock and vibration during transportation. In addition, the housing is hermetically sealed to prevent the ingress of moisture and humidity.

An oil or air bath is not required for these standards due to their excellent temperature stability. However, it should be noted that an air bath would enhance their performance, as this will make them less susceptible to fluctuations in environmental changes.
